I’m sure if you’re a swagbucks user who redeems amazon gift cards you’ve probably heard of amazon student, so this post is directed towards swagbucks members who haven’t heard about this cool program.
If you’re a college student with an email address that ends with “.edu” you have the opportunity to get a six month trial of (slightly watered down) amazon prime for free. Once the six months are up you can cancel the membership, or upgrade for $49 for a year of amazon prime!
Amazon student gives you free two-day shipping on qualifying items, free release-date delivery on video games, books, and DVDs. You can also partake in amazon’s referral system: every person you get to sign up for amazon student gets $10 to spend (so do you)! Also, if you opt out of the free two-day shipping and select “No Rush Delivery” amazon will give you some free instant video credits.
The only thing is doesn’t offer you is access to amazon's instant stream video. If you want to watch shows on amazon you’ll have to pay for it. As I mentioned though opting out of the two day delivery would allow you to get some cash for instant videos.
You HAVE to be able to get into the edu email address, for amazon sends a verification email to it.
As of September 27th 2014 I have been a part of swagbucks for two years. I’ve redeemed one hundred and forty gift cards equaling $1,010! I made nineteen purchases on amazon that I didn’t have to pay for! I’m so happy to have found swagbucks, and I’m glad that I’ve introduced the site to friends, family, and followers. The site is seriously great!
This post is an anniversary post, and I’m going to be breaking down my earnings- similar to a “My Monthly Round Up:” post.
I’m go into a bit of depth with my gift cards, and an update on my referral numbers.
Earnings in 2013:
During my first year on swagbucks I encouraged fifty individuals to sign up on swagbucks. I redeemed fifty-nine $5 amazon gift cards, eight $15 cards and one $25 amazon gift card. That means I made a total of $440 my first year on swagbucks.
Earnings in 2014:
During my second year on swagbucks I got fifty-nine people to sign up for swagbucks. I put in an order for sixty $5, three $15, and nine $25 amazon gift card over the course of the year. That’s a total of $570 my second year on swagbucks.
Combined I got one hundred and forty gift cards. One hundred and nine people signed up for swagbucks under me. One thousand and ten dollars made through swagbucks. One thousand and ten! That shit is intense.
Hello, swagbucks followers! As you’re now aware: I became a member of Hulu Plus in September. I absolutely love it, and I’m not paying any subscription fees! I’ve started to use Bing Rewards to pay for one month free gift cards. I’m saving $95.88 a year just by taking ten minutes a day, and doing my Bing Rewards offers.
You can invite your friends through email, facebook, twitter, or by sharing the unique referral link.
Referral credits are automatically applied in your next billing cycle, and those credits appear when your referral (as a new subscriber) successfully completes the registration process while using your referral link.
You can get a total of 52 free weeks of Hulu Plus before you’ll stop getting credited. That’s one whole year free- just for encouraging your friends to join!
As you may have noticed, we are currently experiencing an issue with the process to access your Gift Card codes.
We are working extremely hard to resolve this issue and should have it fixed by this afternoon.
We know this is frustrating and we apologize for this inconvenience.
If you’re having trouble receiving your gift card codes: be patient swagbucks is aware! It should be fixed soon.
Thank god. I have like $20 due to me.
I think the issue is with gift cards that have already been delivered. Once members click “View My Gift Card Code” the page reloads to the swagbucks' homepage instead of the page displaying the gift card code. I don't know if that's what you're having an issue with, but I thought it was best to clarify. :)
Hope you get your cards soon!
